Computer Labs - Puyallup

The Computer Center is now hiring for the 2013-14 school year!
We recruit in Spring Quarter, we hire between Spring and Summer Quarters and we train during Summer Quarter. The Student Lab Assistant job starts Fall Quarter of 2013. More information and online application.

The Puyallup Computer Center provides:

  • Qualified employees to provide assistance
  • 78-workstation computer lab
  • Support for all instructional programs
  • B&W and color laser printers
  • Five scanners
  • DVD burners

The Puyallup Student Multimedia Center provides:

  • Qualified employees to provide assistance
  • 18-workstation computers with Adobe Creative Design Suite programs
  • Support for all instructional programs
  • One B&W and one color laser printer
  • Two scanners
  • DVD burners
  • Three 32" Macs with wireless mice with Adobe Master Collection programs
  • Two dual-monitor, high-end PCs with wireless keyboard/mice with Adobe Master Collection programs

Hours of Operation

College Center 272
Fall, Winter and Spring Qtrs:
8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday
8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Fridays.
Closed Saturday/Sunday.

Summer Qtr:
8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
Closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Summer Qtr: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Closed Friday to Sunday.

Paper Conservation

PaperCut, a computer-based, print management system, has been installed to encourage responsible printing, discourage waste, and help control costs. Check out our Paper Consumption Chart to see how well we've been doing!

Rules

The following is a list of rules for the Puyallup computer labs:

  • Student ID cards (available in C210) are required to use the labs.
  • Color laser printing is allowed only for final version of school projects. This is a firm policy; violators could lose their lab privileges.
  • Food or drink is allowed only in designated areas within the computer labs.
  • Multiplayer games may be played ONLY in C274 when it is available.
  • Please take cell phone conversations out of the Center.
