Testing Centers - GED Testing

Effective October 1, 2012, the cost of the GED increased to $150.00. 

Effective July 1, 2013, the GED at Pierce College will go computerized. Students must complete the paper version by December 31, 2013 or they must repay and start over on the computerized version.


  1. GED testing is administered by appointment only. Please contact the Pierce College GED Testing Center at (253) 964-6439 or 6521, Puyallup (253) 840-8343 to schedule an appointment.
  2. Payment and pre-registration is required before any GED testing is allowed.
  3. Please bring a government issued photo identification.
  4. Check-In: 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
  5. Retesting is $30.00 per test.

GED Testing Options

  • Math & one of the following exams: Writing, Reading, Science, or Social Studies
  • Reading, Science, & Social Studies
  • Any other combination of two exams
  • Any one exam
