Transcripts - Home

Pierce College makes available to its students both unofficial and official transcripts. Unofficial transcripts are great for your personal records. Official transcripts are often required by other colleges or universities, or employers.

For GED transcripts, visit the GED program website.

Transcripts cannot be provided until a student's financial obligations to the college have been met. This includes payment of library and parking fines.

Unofficial transcripts

If you attended Pierce College anytime since 1986, you can view and print your unofficial transcripts through MyPierce link from any computer with internet access or at the kiosks at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom and Puyallup, as well as at Fort Lewis and McChord Air Force Base. To access, you must know your student ID number and PIN.

If you attended Pierce (or Fort Steilacoom Community College) prior to 1986 or are unable to access MyPierce, you must follow the procedures for an official transcript.

Official transcripts

Written request forms for official transcripts must be signed and submitted to the Records office in person, by mail, or by fax (not by phone or by email). Please allow two weeks for processing and mailing.

For Official Transcripts to pickup or for Official Transcripts mailed directly to the student, there is a $5 non-refundable fee per official transcript.  The fee must be paid before the transcript is prepared.  See payment information below.  There is no fee for transcripts sent directly to other institutions or agencies.

You can do this one of two ways:

  • Download a Transcript Request and return it to the Records office.

  • Create your own request by writing out the following information:
    • Full name at the time you attended;
    • Current name (if different);
    • Student ID or Social Security Number;
    • Date of birth;
    • Daytime phone number;
    • Approximate dates you attended Pierce;
    • Type of transcript you need (unofficial or official);
    • Complete name and address of where the transcript should be mailed;
    • Your signature.
