Early Achievers Grant

Do you love playing, teaching and working with children? Do you want to further your career in early childhood education?

The Early Achievers Grant provides funding (tuition, books and student support services) to help you earn the following in early childhood education:

  • State Initial Early Childhood Education Certificate
  • State Short Early Childhood Education Certificate of Specialization in
    • ECE (General)
    • Infants and Toddlers
    • Family Child Care
    • School-Age Care
    • Administration
  • State Early Childhood Education Certificate
  • Associate Degree

Student Eligibility Requirements

  • Complete the program application
  • Washington residency (as defined in RCW 28B.15.012)
  • Employment at an Early Achievers Program an average of 10 hours a week / 40 hours a month
