Benefits of SI

Regular participation in SI significantly increases your understanding of the course material, improves your grade in the course, and increases your overall GPA. It is also a way to learn more effective ways of studying, and it gives students a chance to meet new people. Student course success, with the help of SI, is shown in the following statistics:

Fall 2007

Outcome SI had on student GPA in Anatomy and Physiology

  • No student participation resulted in GPA of 2.2
  • Students participating in SI resulted in a GPA of 3.2

Winter 2008
