Peer Tutoring
The Peer Tutoring program, available at both the Fort Steilacoom and Puyallup
campuses, provides free assistance to Pierce College students who need to develop
skills for success in their courses. Through individualized attention, tutors
help fellow students gain self-confidence and become independent learners, as
well as grasp specific subject matter.
You may choose which kind of tutoring assistance you prefer, drop-in or matched one-to-one with a tutor. Drop-in tutoring offers immediate help if you have specific questions in math. You will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.
You may request a tutor or may apply to be a tutor at the New Horizons Learning Center at Fort Steilacoom or the Puyallup Learning Center at Puyallup.
