eLearning - Quarterly Schedule and Continuous Entry

All course information and materials for these courses is available through the Pierce College Angel system link. This is how you'll receive information for any course with an item number in the 5600 range.

Here are some tips to ensure your success with quarterly schedule, continuous entry, and self-support classes:

  • Before your class starts, it is important that you access your syllabus, print it out, and read it carefully. If you are unable to complete an assignment or exam, or if you're having trouble with the course, alert your instructor immediately.
  • To ensure you receive emails from your instructor, be sure to do the following:
    • If you're using a "pop-up blocker" on your computer, reset it to allow pop-ups or disable it during your classroom time.
    • Add your instructor and Pierce College eLearning to your email address book to avoid messages being sent to your junk or spam folder.
    • Make sure you've entered your correct email address into the online classroom system.
    • All students are given an official Pierce College email address. If you'd prefer to use a different address, have your Pierce account forwarded to your preferred address. Instructions are available at the Pierce email website.
  • Be mindful of key dates. Remember, it is your responsibility to meet course and college deadlines.
  • If you are receiving financial aid, the Financial Aid office has details on where and when you can pick up your check.

After your class

  • After the quarter ends, you can check your grade at Student Online Services. Click on the "Transcripts" tab to find your grade. Note: You will need to enter your student ID number and PIN. Grades often aren't available immediately after the quarter ends, so keep checking back.
  • Complete a course evaluation. This is required of all eLearning students in all eLearning classes.
