April 4 Homework – Project 1-1 on Page 37: “Identifying Ports on Your Computer.” Note: Do a thorough job. Diagram should document all ports on the back of a system unit describing the pin-out and function of each port. You should answer questions like: How many pins are on each connector? What color is each connector? Due April 6.

April 6 Homework 2 “Identifying motherboard components.” Work in groups trying to diagram all of the major components on the motherboards passed out in class. Each student should turn in a diagram. If you want, use the digital camera to make your diagrams easier to read. Due April 11
