How to get your financial aid check
Financial aid funds are disbursed to students at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom and Pierce College Puyallup on the first day of the academic quarter except for summer quarter.
Student checks are issued for the balance of funds remaining after tuition and fees are paid. Any grant check not picked up within 30 days of disbursement will be canceled in accordance to the Federal Regulations. Also any loan check not picked up within 7 days of disbursement will be canceled in accordance to the Federal Regulations.
To pick up a grant or loan check, complete a Attendance Declaration form. The completed form and acceptable picture ID must be presented at the Cashier's Office to receive the check.
