Summer quarter is the first quarter of the academic year at Pierce College, so applicants for summer quarter aid need to submit a FAFSA for the upcoming academic year before the end of March of the calendar year. For Summer 2006, for example, a student should submit a 2006-2007 FAFSA before the end of March 2006.
Students seeking summer quarter financial aid must be pursuing a degree or certificate at Pierce College.
Although summer classes generally begin in late June, financial aid checks for summer quarter are not available until July.
