For employers
Students who receive a work-study award must pick up a Work Study Authorization Form from the Financial Aid Office prior to beginning employment. Once they receive this document, students may start work when classes begin (students enrolled for Summer quarter can begin working on July 1).
Students receive work-study funds directly in the form of a paycheck, based on hours worked in a work-study position.
The Pierce College work-study coordinator posts job advertisements as a service to our students and local community. We make no recommendations or representations regarding the employer or the position. Pierce College is not responsible for safety, wages, working conditions or other aspects of off-campus employment. Pierce College does not guarantee that each student will be placed in a work-study or non work-study position. If additional assistance is required, please contact the Pierce College Work-study Coordinator.
