Modern painting combined with ancient technique in this exhibit November 7 through December 11, 2011, featuring the internationally acclaimed painter Susan Russell Hall. Hall uses the encaustic medium, which originated in Egypt more than 2,000 years ago. The technique uses beeswax, pigments, and a propane torch to create unique, dazzlng works of art.

In October, 2011 this concert showcased two highly contrasting musical tales of poetry and romance by Wagner and Faure, and finishes with one of the most powerful, challenging, and dramatic piano concertos in the classical repertoire - Brahms 2nd. A pianist of superior skill and stamina can explore the full breadth of its extraordinary expressive potential, and we were thrilled to feature John Novacek on our stage for our discovery of this masterpiece.
