Becoming a member is easy. Simply find your member group below to determine your rate. All fees can be paid at the cashier’s window in the Gaspard administration building or by calling (253) 840-8405.

Tuition - Paying Students (includes Running Start, ABE, Parent Ed, international credit-bearing. Effective Winter 2009 and continuing through Fall 2010, any student who was an enrolled student between Winter 2003 and Spring 2008 is included in this category.)

• $15 consumables fee per quarter
• Unlimited access
  Students wishing to pay the HEC usage fee during the summer quarter, but do not want to take a summer class, may do so if they are registered for fall quarter.

(Note: Fort Steilacoom students pay a $35 construction fee and Puyallup students pay a $63.75 construction fee, based on a 15 credit schedule.)

Students who don’t pay the construction fee (includes International Intensive English, certain waivers)

• $45 access fee per quarter
• $15 consumables fee per quarter

Continuing Ed Students (includes family members of other groups and general public)

• Continuing Ed students may only access the facility during their scheduled classes. Continuing Ed students wishing to have unlimited access will register for a 1 credit PE Class, and pay tuition and a consumables fee.

Faculty and Staff

• $15 consumables fee per quarter
• $45 access fee per quarter
• To avoid possible full classes, employees may register for a 1 credit PE class and the college will pay half your tuition. You pay the other half of tuition.
• Employees may register for a class on space available basis and pay a $5 course fee

Non-Pierce College State Employees

• $75 access fee per quarter
• $15 consumables fee per quarter

All new members are asked to attend a special orientation session to review facility amenities, equipment checkout procedures, towel use, basic guidelines, and safe use of equipment.
