Math Course Pattern

Your placement test scores will determine where you should start.

  1. Math 50, Basic Mathematics
  2. Math 54, Beginning Algebra
  3. Math 96, Intermediate Algebra in Context
  4. After completing Math 96 with a grade of 2.0 or better, choose one of the following Quantitative Reasoning courses:
    • Math 107, or
    • Math 146, or
    • Math 131
    • Math 141 and 147 require additional algebra skills and require completion of Math 98.
      Choose the course that fits your program of study.

Prerequisite: Math 98
