Group experience designed to emphasize the affective domain
of human growth. Focuses on varied aspects of people’s emotions, feelings,
values, and the relationship of these to intellectual pursuits and making life
more meaningful.

Small structured class designed to emphasize personal development
skills necessary to adjust to life’s circumstances in college survival,
goal setting, time management, positive life attitude, communication skills,
self-confidence and anxiety.
107 (2) Human Potential Seminar
The Human Potential Seminar provides a set of experiences
through which students learn to identify their potentialities, and to put these
potentialities to work in their lives. It is designed to increase self-esteem,
intra-personal awareness and inter-personal affectivity. The seminar takes place
in a small group setting and involves structured group activities.

Scientific study of animal behavior and experience. Both
biological and social basics of behavior are covered with emphasis on heredity,

Examines the rights and responsibilities of individuals
with disabilities as guided by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Provides
opportunities for leadership, self-advocacy, team-building and community maintenance
skills.

Tools and techniques to prepare the student to obtain employment.
Includes goal setting, vocational planning, job search information, completing
labor market surveys, and interview techniques.

of increasing wanted behavior and decreasing unwanted behavior.
