Pierce College – McChord AFB/Fort Lewis nows offer Asset Testing for out-of-area students

Pierce College - McChord AFB/Fort Lewis now offers Asset Placement Testing for out-of-area students. This service, previously unavailable outside of Pierce College, is available under certain circumstances for our deployed and out-of-area students. The student must have a servicing Education Center with a Test Control Office (TCO) or a local unit commander who is willing to serve as the TCO.

The TCO must be willing to administer the Asset Test for our students in their area and agree to handle the test materials using a documented chain of custody. They must also be willing to receive and sign for the Asset test and materials, administer the test IAW acceptable testing standards and return the score sheets to us via Registered Mail. (A sample message is available upon request)

Taking the test requires students to register and pay for the test ($10 fee for processing), take the test and then wait for Pierce College to receive and process the test. Pierce College will then contact the student with the results and recommendations on courses.

Once the servicing TCO has agreed to the stipulations Para 1 above and receives the materials, the student will be able to register for the Asset test.

Procedures for Registering for the Asset Test:
