Concert Choir

photo: concert choir performs

The Concert Choir at Pierce College is a non-audition ensemble. The group typically ranges anywhere from 35 to 50 singers, although at times can be as large as 75. In addition to working on a variety of choral literature, time is spent learning how to count and to sight read. The choir sings a variety of music, including traditional choral music, gospel music and other various types of world music. In addition, the choir typically performs at least one major work per year. Quarterly concerts are held in Lagerquist Auditorium on the Pacific Lutheran University campus which is a wonderful choral venue to perform in. The choir will occasionally collaborate with other area choirs as well.

If you are interested in continuing to sing, or getting back to singing in a quality choral ensemble, this is the group you want to be in. Choir meets from Noon to 12:50, Monday through Friday.

See "Upcoming Events" on the home page for a list of future performances.
