Prospective Students

Thank you so much for your interest and enthusiasm in the new Pierce College Two-Year Associate Degree in Nursing Program!

We hope that your pre-nursing coursework and application process goes well for you. We are available to answer any questions that you may have regarding the program and application process.

The Pierce College Nursing Program is an approved program by the Washington State Department of Health Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission. We are also in the midst of preparing for optional, national accreditation through the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. We are planning for our site visit by the NLNAC in February 2007.

Monthly information sessions will be held at Pierce College Puyallup throughout the year for those of you who need further assistance, information and direction. Quarterly sessions will also be offered at Fort Steilacoom as needed. Since information on the program is constantly changing, we highly recommend that you attend a session once or twice each year to keep abreast of any program changes.

Regular information sessions will be held in Puyallup on the third Thursday of each month during each quarter. There will be no sessions scheduled while Pierce College students are on break or during finals week.

You may download all application material from this site. If you wish to request further information please contact the Pierce College Puyallup Allied Health Office at (253) 864-3272. Applications for each Winter quarter start are available late April of the prior year.

We are so excited about this new program and hope that you are as well. We cannot wait to hear from you. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Thanks again,

Hope Roberts
