Your Introduction to Pierce College
Online introduction covers the same topics as our on-campus orientation sessions, and you can prepare for school in the comfort of your own home. Select a section to learn more, meet other new students, and tour campus.
Buying textbooks
Once you've registered for classes, look in the bookstore in person or online to see what books are required.
Plan to spend about half the cost of tuition on books and other supplies. Several options are available for buying textbooks:
- Visit the bookstore in person
- Order online through the bookstore
- Check the student book exchange
- Try other commercial book Web sites
If you can, buy your books early. Get a head start on the quarter by reading the first 50 pages!
If you need additional financial aid for books, you will need to have an Attendance Verification form signed by each instructor at the beginning of the quarter.
