Location and Lodging
Pierce College Fort Steilacoom is located on 140 acres in the city of Lakewood, 10 miles southwest of Tacoma, Wash. The campus is next to Fort Steilacoom Park. It is just one mile from the waters of Puget Sound with snow-covered mountain ranges visible in both directions.

Pierce College does not have on-campus housing. We do have a cafeteria that will be open the first week with limited hours: usually morning until approximately 2 p.m. However, the cafeteria will be closed during the restorative course. Please be prepared to bring your lunch daily. We are also close to Lakewood Town Center where you will find a grocery store, a variety of retail shops and cinemas. In addition, the city of Tacoma is just north of us and offers many excellent dining options.
