General Transferable Electives (GTE)

The following courses (see A and B below) have been approved by Pierce College as General Transferable Electives/Core Electives.

A.        Any of the approved CORE distribution courses designated as Communication Skills, Quantitative/Symbolic Reasoning Skills, Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences with the exception of performance/skills courses.

            AND/OR

B.            Courses numbered 100 and above listed in the departments in the next column.

Please note: Independent Study classes and cooperative work experience/work-based learning in any department, as well as Pass (P) grades, cannot be applied to the GTE area.
