Take the next step that is best for you...

Should I study for a high school diploma or a GED?

Although every situation is different, a GED is usually recommend for those who have not obtained at least all their junior year credits (at least 16 high school Carnegie units.)

General Educational Development (GED) Preparation Program

The GED Prep classes prepare students to take the GED Test. Whole group structured classes are held in Writing, Mathematics, and GED Reading. Most employers recognize the GED certificate as being equivalent to a high school diploma. Individuals who have obtained a GED certificate meet the educational eligibility requirement for federal financial aid.
