The Humanities department offers a diverse curriculum of courses investigating the arts, thought and culture, and the relationship of the humanities with other disciplines. A sequence of three classes traces the history of Western Thought & Culture, while Ethnic Thought & Culture, Black Thought & Culture and Native American Humanities courses explore specialized areas. Introduction to Folklore, Computers & Humans, Science & Humanities, American Popular Culture, American Cinema & Society, and World Religions complete the rich cultural course offerings.
