PierceTV - Home

PierceTV is a program featuring students and staff at Pierce College, hosted by Pierce students Holly Buchanon and Georgina Tyler and produced by the Digital Design department.

It is broadcast on Comcast Cable channel 28 every evening at 7:30 PM. Each episode repeats throughout its broadcast month. You can also catch episodes on YouTube or right here!

Early Spring 2013

In the Early Spring edition of PierceTV hosts Georgina and Holly present segments with on the newly opened Science Dome on the Fort Steilacoom campus. This episode also features 2D and 3D animation from the Digital Design department at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom and the television premiere of the Science Fiction film: Corella, a short film written and produced by Patrick Daugherty's drama students with 3D animations and backgrounds created by students in the Digital Design program and the special effects and editing by Digital Design student Art Franz.

Early Winter 2013

In the Winter edition of Pierce TV, our hosts Georgina and Holly present segments with the 2012 Digital Design Student of the Year, Theresa Carr, Instructor Beth Norman, Faculty Counselor/Advisor Monica Nucciarone and Librarians Sarah Frye, Christie Flynn and Laurie Schuster. This episode also features 2D and 3D animation from the Digital Design department at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom and concludes with Patrick Daugherty's students doing dramatic presentations from the 2012 edition of SLAM, Pierce College's Student Literary Arts Magazine.
