Instructors

Shirley Baenen, BA in Real Estate, is a certified general appraiser with over thirty years experience in the Real Estate industry.  She has a Washington state real estate broker's license and has earned the Certified Property Managers (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

Bob Corl, BA and MA, has been a licensed real estate broker for over twenty years. He is a nationally published real estate author, a Certified Washington State Real Estate Instructor (all subjects), and holds a Washington State Real Estate Appraiser Trainee Certificate. Bob is the former Licensed Director of Metropolitan Real Estate School (Pennsylvania and Delaware) and the former Director of Education for the Washington Realtors. 

Morrie Pedersen, BA and M.Ed., former Pierce College faculty member and Division Chair of Humanities, has been licensed as a real estate agent for more than 30 years. Following his recent retirement from the college, Morrie has switched to selling real estate full-time, along with teaching two of our correspondence courses.  He enjoys the challenges associated with selling real estate as a full-time agent.
