Pierce College Runner's Fair 2007
Course Description:
The course for the 5K Race starts and finishes at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom, located in Lakewood, Washington. The course begins in the Pierce College parking lot, at the South Entrance to the Cascade Building, proceeds to Farwest Drive SW, heads downhill to Steilacoom Boulevard, and takes the main pathway through Fort Steilacoom Park. The course traverses through the park and includes a scenic loop around Lake Waughop before taking a gentle climb back up to the college, finishing at the start line. The course is on roadways and paved sidewalks and paths.
The Tot Trot course will loop through the Pierce College campus finishing near the new Milgard Child Development Center. The course is less than one mile.
Why
Proceeds from this event will support scholarships for deserving student athletes at Pierce College.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 men and women overall. In addition, ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 in each age group. Random door prizes also will be awarded.
Vendor Fair
Local fitness-related businesses will be on hand with product and service information.
