Well, it all began when I entered the trailer/portable/marketing dept./”what the heck is this building doing in the middle of a parking lot.” Laughter, creativity, fun, and the smell of something odd (i’m pretty sure it was tuna, atleast I hope so) all contained in maybe 800 sf. ready to explode and attack the world with gimmicks and charm. Ready to enter their minds and pursuade them into attending one of the most intellectual, professional, and beautiful high schools– excuse me colleges, in Puyallup. This is where my office is, this is where my heart desk lies.
So what does a media technician have to do with marketing anyways? Well, nothing. Kinda. I help them with video and pictures and I have the same boss, but I am part of the library and I assist faculty, staff, and students with anything they desire (and has to do with media). I have been called: hero, genius, that guy, and saviour (weird I know) by people who have called me when in need. Who are you going to call when your projector fails? When your smart desk isn’t too smart? When your VHS/DVD player won’t do what it promises? This guy. Josh Gonzalez. This is my first pathetic post. Enjoy.
