This is an introductory course in statistics. Topics include descriptive statistics of central tendency, frequency and distribution of events, sample spaces, dispersion, graphing and organization of data, inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, and linear regression.
Prerequisites: Satisfactory placement test score or MATH 98 with at least a grade of 2.0 or instructor permission.
