The college maintains a close working relationship with both the Police and Fire Departments of Lakewood and Puyallup.

As part of that working relationship, all Campus Safety employees are required to cooperate with and provide assistance to local law enforcement agencies with investigations and the resolution of any on-campus crime.

Department procedure requires that law enforcement agencies be contacted when incidents occur which are outside of the department's scope of authority.
