Columbia Legal Services (CLS) is a not for profit organization employing lawyers and legal workers who provide legal assistance to low-income and special needs people and organizations in Washington. CLS has recently reorganized and now maintains five offices.

Northwest Justice Project's mission is to secure justice in a democratic society by working for equal access to the legal system by empowering low-income persons and communities through education about their legal rights and obligations, and by promoting respect for human dignity through legal advocacy. 

The Northwest Women's Law Center has been working for nearly 30 years to make these concepts a reality for women in the Pacific Northwest. By using the law, one of the most powerful tools in our democratic society, we improve women's social, economic and legal status. We bring ground-breaking lawsuits to change the law, advocate for legislation that advances women's rights, and educate women and the community about women's legal rights. And we do so on virtually any issue that affects women, because the challenges women face are multi-dimensional. Pierce County Law Library

Pierce County DV&SA Services provides confidential assistance for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, rape, child sexual abuse, stalking, elder abuse, sexual assault and sexual harassment.
Services include crisis intervention, emergency shelter, advocacy-based counseling, legal, medical and social services advocacy, support groups, children's advocacy and community education and prevention. All services are confidential and free.

Washington State Human Rights Commission
The mission of the Washington State Human Rights Commission is to eliminate and prevent discrimination through the fair application of the law, the efficient use of resources, and the establishment of productive partnerships in the community.

The Washington State Human Rights Commission (Commission) enforces the Law Against Discrimination (RCW 49.60). The Commission works to prevent and eliminate discrimination by investigating human rights complaints and providing education and training opportunities throughout the state.
