Reminders:

• For all tests, please bring Picture I.D. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made.
• NEW students must go to the Admissions Office and be issued a Pierce College student identification number prior to taking the COMPASS.
• A $10.50 non-refundable fee must be paid to the Cashier's Office to take the COMPASS.
• Students who wish to take the COMPASS and do not plan to attend Pierce College must know their Social Security Number to take the assessment.
• GED testing will be administered on a scheduled bases for both test sites.
• Preregistration is required before any GED testing is allowed. Please provide the following at the Testing Center:
  • If between 16 and 19 years of age, provide the original Request for Approval to Test General Educational Development (GED) Certificate Form from the school district in which you reside.
  • Receipt for payment for all 5 exams totaling $75.00. The retesting fee for any exam is $15.00.
  • Verification of Identity—Government issued photo identification.
  • Verification of Washington State Residency—If your photo identification does not include your current address.
  • Verification of Social Security Number.
• Please bring government issued photo identification with you to your scheduled GED test.
• COMPASS test scores are good for 12 months
• COMPASS test can be retaken after 5 business days.
• You can only take the test twice in a 12 month period.
