Mabell Mauve - Attractiveness and Helping Behavior

Mabell's project took a straightforward helping behavior study, executed the methodology with incredible precision.

We all know guys will help a woman who is socially defined as attractive more than one who is less so. Will girls show the same preference?

Her work:

Angela Ward - Seasonal Affective Disorder

Very ambitious design. The within subjects piece was very well conceived. The only reason more data wasn't collected was of my tardiness in returning her status report.

Jung & Sarah's Creativity Study

Their work: Had 6 tests of creativity, then thought about differences among results of tests.

Julie's Piaget and Vygotsky study

Incredibly detailed status report. More importantly, she shows movement from Piaget to Vygotsky -- as we look at Piaget's tests of conservation more carefully, we see how Vygotsky is necessary to understand the range of what kids know.

Emely's work on gender and fears

This is a great status report, it really shows her thought process. Her thinking isn't don't, but we see what she's doing. The writing in pen is her first way of dividing the data. The green marker is her second pass through.

Jessica's gender personality one.

Lots of the people look at introvert/extrovert personalities. She took it one step forward, an ingenious design.
