Strategic Direction Five

Pierce College will create and nurture partnerships within the college district and throughout the communities we serve to maximize cultural, economic, and political strength.

5.1. Continue coordinated efforts among Pierce County community and technical colleges and other educational institutions to examine efficiencies, programs of study, articulations, and future opportunities for cooperation.

5.2. Integrate and coordinate efforts for communication, outreach, and collaboration with local K-12 schools districts.

5.3. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with local, state, and national governmental and community leaders to meet the needs of the communities we serve.

5.4. Increase the visibility of Pierce College sites within the communities they serve to promote value and support for the college in meeting community needs.

5.5. Increase employee awareness of all college programs and services available throughout the district so they can promote them to its diverse students and communities.
