Pierce College will act with an understanding of and respect for the College as a dynamic, complex district serving the needs of its diverse communities.

2.1 Communicate the district mission, goals, strategic directions, outcomes and action plans to all constituents.

2.2. Use language and images in presentations, publications, and formal exchanges that clearly reflect Pierce College as a dynamic, diverse district.

2.3. Recognize and support the unique value and contribution of each college unit to the success of the District.

2.4. Recognize and support the unique value and contribution of each individual to the success of the District.

2.5 Develop communication systems that enable clear information flow to and from employees at all sites at all levels.

2.6 Implement a "shared decision-making" matrix that establishes clear guidelines to empower all employees to make decisions at the appropriate level.
