We have prepared repertoire that includes some of the happiest and saddest pieces for wind ensemble, as well as some fantastic masterworks for chamber winds. While the theme is a bit more subjective than themes from the last two years, this is our most ambitious program yet and we are beyond excited to share it with you.
Repertoire includes:
- Ralph Vaughan Williams – English Folk Song Suite
- Sergei Prokofiev – Gavotte
- Richard Strauss – Serenade in E-flat
- Percy Grainger – Children's March
- Daniel Bukvich – Symphony no. 1 "In Memoriam Dresden 1945"
- David Maslanka – Requiem
- Morten Lauridsen – O Magnum Mysterium
- John Barnes Chance – Variations on a Korean Folk Song
