Homeless Shelters

Open Hearth Ministries: A motel shelter for homeless families in Puyallup/East Pierce Ct.

We are an all-volunteer program of Homeward Bound in Puyallup. We shelter qualified families in local motels for a few days, attempt to meet their immediate needs and provide resources and personal support. The students would visit a family in the motel, listen to their situation, offer appropriate counsel and support and provide community resources. There would be some required paperwork related to our funding sources.
