Leave Provisions for Administrative Exempt Employees
The Pierce College Board of Trustees will provide the following leave provisions for
full-time exempt administrators employed by the district:
Six days of personal leave per contract year; unused balance to be non-accumulative,
and non-compensable.
Sick leave accrued at a rate of one day (8 hours) per each month in pay status; leave
may accumulate with no limit on balance.
Twenty-two (22) days of annual (vacation) leave per contract year (16 hours per month
except for January and July that accrue 8 hours per month); any unused balance may
be carried forward to the next contract year. Upon separation, retirement or death,
a maximum of 50 days of accrued annual leave may be compensated for in cash. Annual
leave earned shall include days pro-rated related to the contract year.
