Land Acknowledgement
Art by Paige Pettibon
The land we are on is beautiful. It has provided for the people of the Salish Sea since time immemorial. The people of the Salish Sea are intimately connected with the land and continue to be its stewards despite being forcibly moved and targeted through actions intended to disrupt their traditions.
This land acknowledgment is part of our active listening and responsive action, and we are committed to sharing our progress through dedicated webpages and resources. We invite you to view our tribal partners' own land acknowledgements, and to learn more about their rich history, ongoing initiatives, and resilience.
