Virtual Technology Assistance
Pierce College’s Student Technology Assistance Team (STAT) helps students access and better understand technology utilized at Pierce College. We are pleased to offer both in-person and online technology support assistance to all Pierce College students. During all open computer lab hours, a friendly STAT member is available to help answer technology-related questions online through our Canvas page, which offers access to a live chat, through our Zoom room, over the phone, and via our contact form.

In the STAT Canvas site, students will have access to up-to-date FAQ tutorials in the modules section, live links to talk to a STAT member, and many quick resource guides. STAT is currently working on expanding tutorials into multiple languages, which will be posted in the STAT Canvas space as they come available. When hiring, you can also find our job application on our Canvas site.
Zoom is available for students to receive online support with a dedicated STAT member from their home computer, to provide timely support that students may need to be successful. Zoom provides one-on-one, face-to-face video conferences, so that questions can be addressed in real-time. There is a convenient chat feature for quick questions, screen sharing technology, and resource sharing. Join our Canvas space for updated hours and availability.
