About the Program

The Fire Services Leadership and Management degree was developed as a collaborative program between Pierce College and Bates Technical College. It is a two-year associate degree (AAS). Courses are shared between the two colleges and are offered exclusively online. This is an online degree program so class is in session anytime and from anywhere.

The Fire Services Leadership and Management associate degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution after completing the first two years in this program. The degree enables students to fulfill some of the undergraduate general education requirements of most four-year fire degree programs and is also recommended for students who have not yet decided upon the field they will enter or the four-year institution they will attend.

Apply to the Program

Because experience may count as credit towards this degree, all students should consult with the program coordinator before enrolling in the Fire Services Leadership and Management program. You will be asked to bring your certificates, licenses, military training records and/or discharge papers, and any college transcripts.
