International Programs

Pierce College's International Education program offers four distinct programs. All courses are taught by dedicated, skilled faculty. All have master's degrees in their fields, and many have doctorates. Class sizes are small (typically 15-20 students), allowing instructors to give individual attention to each student.

  • Intensive English Program. Learn English language skills you can use for further study, a career, or to achieve personal goals.
  • Associate Degree for University Transfer. Complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree at Pierce College; courses are equivalent to those offered at top universities, but at a fraction of the cost.  Pierce College students transfer to top universities throughout the United States.
  • Professional/Technical Program. Students can earn certificates and degrees in a wide variety of fields. Select from a number of high-demand career fields and be ready to work in six months to two years, depending on the program.
  • High School Completion. This fast-track program enables international students to earn a Washington state high school diploma and credits toward a bachelor's degree at the same time.
