City of Lakewood to Host “MLK Beloved Community Celebration” at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom

The City of Lakewood and Pierce College invite the community to a vibrant and interactive community celebration honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, from 6 - 8 p.m at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom in the Cascade Building.

Pierce College awarded over $5.5 Million in Federal TRIO Grants to expand Student Support Services

Pierce College has received more than $5.5 million in federal TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) grants to expand services for students who are low-income, first-generation, or have documented disabilities.
