Free, virtual mental health services now available to enrolled students

Pierce College has launched a new partnership with Mantra Health to expand access to free, flexible mental health support for enrolled students, reinforcing the college’s commitment to student well-being and academic success.

Through the Mantra Care Hub, Pierce College students now have 24/7 access to a range of virtual mental health services designed to meet them where they are — emotionally, academically, and geographically.

“At Pierce College, our commitment is simple: every student should belong, advance, and thrive," said Chancellor and CEO Julie White, Ph.D. "Belonging means students feel seen, valued, and connected to a community that honors who they are. Advancing means they have clear pathways, equitable access, and the support to persist with confidence. Thriving means they leave here prepared for what comes next. Our partnership with Mantra Health expands access to timely, culturally responsive  mental health support, reinforcing an ecosystem of care that reduces barriers, affirms student identity, and helps students stay on their path to achieving their goals."

Available services include:

  • Therapy: One-on-one virtual sessions with licensed mental health providers.
  • Wellness Coaching: Short-term, goal-oriented support focused on emotional wellness, productivity, and resilience.
  • Self Care: Self-guided online courses to help students manage stress, build healthy habits, and strengthen coping skills.
  • ConnectNow: On-demand support with a mental health professional—video appointments available from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. PT, and phone support available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with no appointment required.

All services are confidential and free for enrolled Pierce College students.

Students can get started immediately by visiting the Mantra Care hub on the Pierce College website.
