Evacuation Plan

Evacuation Plan

  1. Upon hearing the Fire/Evacuation Alarm
    • Secure immediate personal belongings
    • Secure coat, jacket, sweater, etc.
    • Secure vehicle keys
  2. Evacuate the building using the nearest exit
  3. Move a minimum of 200 feet away from all buildings
  4. Notify an Evacuation Director or Campus Safety Officer of anyone left in the building or needing assistance
    • Evacuation Directors are identified by orange safety vests
    • Be prepared to provide the location and description of the individual(s) needing assistance
  5. Be prepared to be out of the facilities for a minimum of one hour
