Pierce College is proud to announce the selection of three exceptional former students who will be honored during this year’s Distinguished Alumni and Scholarship Celebration, taking place Tuesday, March 24 at Pierce College Puyallup. Nominees were carefully selected based on their achievements in academics, business, community and humanitarian support, or personal triumph over adversity.
The chosen honorees provide inspirational examples of the impact Pierce College can have on students and the community. The 2026 Distinguished Alumni are: Antonio Nash, Anna Wolfe, and Gregory Marks.
Major Antonio Nash, class of 1995, is a Soldier’s Admissions Officer at the United States Military Academy West Point. While attending Pierce College, Nash served as the first president of the Black Student Union, and the President of the Associated Students of Pierce College Fort Steilacoom. Nash credits his experience at Pierce College for providing the foundation for his life and career.
Anna Wolfe, class of 2012, is a Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist who covers inequity and corruption in government safety net programs, charities and institutions affecting marginalized communities. She has received many national honors including the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting for her years-long coverage of corruption embedded in Mississippi’s welfare program. Wolfe says the knowledge, skills, and empathy she gained attending Pierce College Fort Steilacoom is education she’s used daily in her career as a reporter.
Gregory Marks, class of 2017, is the CEO of Right Now Today films and a member of the Pierce College Business Advisory Board. In 2012 after a 22-year battle with addiction, Marks says he was determined to turn his life around. He embraced sobriety and embarked on a journey of transformation and self-discovery through an education at Pierce College. Today he is the CEO and founder of his own company, Right Now Today films. He says that Pierce College helped give him the courage to push himself further and get to where he is in his life and career today.
