How to log in to Handshake
Once your account is set up, you can log in with your Pierce College account using Single Sign-On (SSO).
If you created an account without using SSO, go to the Handshake website and choose "Log in another way" to enter in your email and Handshake password.
1. Visit Handshake
Go to the Handshake login page and select Pierce College District.
2. Create Handshake credentials
Once your school is selected, you’ll receive the following options:
- PCD’s Single Sign-On (SSO): Log in with your school credentials.
- If you don’t remember your login details, try using the same username and password you use for email, Wi-Fi and printing.
- Continue with email: Set up a unique password for Handshake using your email.
If your account isn’t set up yet, it is likely because you are not yet enrolled or you are enrolled in your first term with us but it hasn’t started yet. Go back and select continue with email or contact the Career Center to verify if your account exists already.
3. Set up and verify your account
After your account is verified, you’ll be guided through an onboarding experience.
Important: If you created your own account with Pierce College instead of using SSO, you'll need to wait for a manual approval by the Career Center. If you have any questions about your pending connection, reach out JCC@pierce.ctc.edu.
