How Can the Career Center Help You Get Hired?
Beginning a job search can be a confusing process. Where to start?
Our professional Career Center staff offer services to Pierce College students, alumni and our local community to help you find a job and get hired. Areas where we can provide expert assistance include:
- Internship and job searching. Resources for finding an internship, work study, volunteer, or full- or part-time position. Visit Searching For Jobs and Internships for resources and information.
- Filling out job applications. The Career Centers are equipped with computers and adjustable workspaces for individuals to apply for jobs, work on application materials, and research careers. Career Center staff are available to help answer questions about applications and application materials during drop-in hours and by appointment.
- Resume assistance. Resume reviews, considering which resume format may be best, and answering questions about resume concerns.
- Interview preparation. Practice interviews, reviewing common interview types, addressing tricky interview questions, and strategizing questions to ask recruiters. Mock interviews can be scheduled for in person or remote practice.
