We’re excited to have you join our vibrant community of students from over 35 countries. To help you settle in, we look forward to seeing you at our International Student Orientation.
Orientation Overview
Dates: Summer 2027 (IEP orientation and College orientation)
Location: Pierce College Campus – Fort Steilacoom/Lakewood campus
Format: In-person sessions, campus tours, and online modules
Our orientation program is mandatory for all incoming international students. It covers everything you need to start your academic journey with confidence and clarity.
What You’ll Learn
During orientation, you will:
- Learn your student visa responsibilities
- Discover academic support resources and how to use ctcLink, Pierce College’s main portal for academic and administrative services
- Explore student clubs and campus life
- Meet fellow students and staff to build your Pierce College network
- Review local transportation options
- Learn about your medical insurance, U.S. healthcare, and safety
Preparing for Orientation
When enrollment is complete, a detailed orientation schedule will be emailed to you.
You will also receive an invitation to pre-arrival orientation videos and materials.
