Washington 211
Washington 211 is the best first step to finding the right resources, including housing. Washington 211 is a central access point to find help and resources in your community. They have the most current database of resources across the state.

Get help by dialing the number 211, searching the Washington 211 website, or texting "211WAOD" to 898211.
- Emergency Gas Card
- Currently enrolled students who have an emergency need for gas may request assistance.
- Schedule a meeting with a Basic Needs Navigator to learn more.
- Student Emergency Assistance Grant (SEAG)
- Currently enrolled students can apply for funds to help with emergency expenses. Opens once per term (except summer).
- Schedule a meeting with a Basic Needs Navigator to learn more.
- Supporting Students Experiencing Homelessness Grant (SSEH)
- Currently enrolled students can apply for help with emergency housing costs.
- Schedule a meeting with a Basic Needs Navigator to learn more.
- Student Success Grant
- The Pierce College Foundation’s Student Success Grant helps students make payments towards a non-tuition related cost, once per academic year.
- Applications can be completed through on the MyPierce portal.
- To qualify students must:
- Be currently enrolled in classes with at least a minimum of 6 credits
- Have completed at least one term at Pierce College
- Earned a 2.0 or higher GPA (Either cumulatively or in most recently completed term)
- Have no previous term debt owed to Pierce College
- Submitted a FAFSA or WASFA application.

- Use to apply for food benefits, cash assistance, Washington Apple Health (Medicaid), childcare subsides, long-term care services and more.
