Enrollment is open throughout the year. Start in the fall, winter, spring, or summer quarters.

Prerequisites
Students must have a GED or high school diploma, and are advised to take a skills assessment test through the Pierce College testing center.

Program length
Certificates can be earned in about a year (40 to 50 credits). The associate in business takes about two years (90-plus credits).

Special fees
Lab fees may apply for students taking some hybrid or online courses.

Transfer possibilities
Pierce College's associate in business transfers directly to The Evergreen State College (Olympia and Tacoma campuses) and to some private colleges. Students intending to transfer into a four-year program are asked to work closely with their academic advisor.
